Drone Surveys
Aerial inspection where roofs, chimneys, valleys and high-level detail cannot be seen properly from the ground or from a ladder.
When it helps
Steeply pitched slate roofs, tall chimneys, parapets and hidden valleys are common on period property in the borders and often the least visible part of a survey. Aerial imagery lets high-level condition be assessed and recorded rather than assumed.
How it is used
A drone inspection can be instructed on its own, or added to a Level 2 or Level 3 survey where the roof is the main unknown. Flights are only made where it is lawful and safe to do so.
