A focused inspection of a single problem, where you already know what is worrying you and need the cause identified rather than a whole-property report.
Typical instructions
Damp at low level in a solid stone wall. Cracking above openings or at a junction with an extension. A roof that has been patched more than once. Staining after heavy rain. Timber decay found during works.
What you receive
A written report identifying the likely cause, the evidence for that conclusion, what further investigation is worth doing, and the repair options with their relative urgency. Where the honest answer is that no significant work is needed, the report says so.
